1. Application:
NYCY cables are used in power plants, industrial and switching installations, for street lighting, domestic power supply connections, in secondary distribution networks and other. These cables are preferentially used for underground application as well as for interior installation in room and cable ducts and for outdoor and applications, for indoor installations, in the open air, underground and in water where greater mechanical protection an protection against accidental contact is required if damaged.

Conductors: Stranded Annealed Copper
Insulation: XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene)
Concentric layer: Single layer of plain annealed copper wires
Sheath/Jacket: PE(Polyethylene) or XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene)
Common Used Colours:
For insulation: Blue, Black and Red.
For external jacket: Black
Voltage: 600 volts
Operating temperature: Maximum 90°C, minimum -30°C
3. Executive standard:
VDE0276 part 603, CENELEC HD603 S1, IEC 60502
7 cores and above to VDE0276 part 627, CENELEC HD627 S1, IEC 60502 upon request.
