Standards

The cable is manufactured according to IEC 60502.2, IEC 60502.1, AS/NZS 1429.1, AS/NZS 5000.1, BS 6622/7835, BS 5467, BS 6746, BS 6346, VDE 0276, ASTM, ABNT etc. It is suitable to be installed in the power line with rated voltage from (U0/U)0.6/1kV to 19/33kV for power transmission.

Application

The electric cable is applied to transmit and distribute power in power transmission and distribution system of 1kV~35kV or lower. It is widely adopted in the fields including power, construction, industry, mines, metallurgy, petrochemical industry and communication in complete replace of oil immersed paper insulated power  cable and in partial re-place of PVC insulation or XLPE power cable.

Cable Properties

The maximum rated temperature

XLPE insulated,the maximum operating temperature of conductor shall exceed 90℃when the cable is used for long not period. The temperature of conductor shall not exceed 250℃ at short circuit for 5 seconds.
PVC insulated,the maximum operating temperature of conductor shall exceed 90℃ or 70 ℃  when the cable is used for long not period. PVC insulated the temperature of conductor shall not exceed 160℃ at short circuit for 5 seconds.

Installation requirement

The installation of cable is not limited by the difference of elevation along the route. The ambient temperature should not be below 0℃ during installation. The permissible bending radius for cable shall be complied with the following regulations:
For single-core: R>20(D+d) +/-5%
For multi-core: R>15(D+d) +/-5%
Where:R—bending radius (mm) , D—overall diameter of the cable (mm) , d—diameter of conductor (mm).
Single core cable of using in AC circuit shall be without armour or with steel wire armour and shall not be laid in magnetic ducs.

THHN THW THWN WIRE 18AWG 16AWG 14AWG 12AWG 10AWG 8AWG copper wire pvc insulation nylon jacket electric building cable.

Applications:

THHN building wire is meant for use as general purpose wiring for installation in conduit or other recognized raceway.
THHN may also be used for machine tool, appliance and control circuit wiring.
Description of usage properties
The nylon sheathed cable has more excellences in physical and electrical performance than the PVC cable.
The cable has smaller outer diameter, lighter weight, less static friction coefficient than the same size of PVC cable, which greatly improve safety and convenience in installation and assembly of the cable.
It is self-lubrication, and has good resistance to corrosion, oil, acids, alkali, and moisture.
The cable is widely used in fixed installation, home appliance, lighting equipment, construction and aviation engine room with voltage up to 450/750V.
Its permitted long term working temperature shall be 70°C or 90°C, installation temperature shall be over 0°C, and maximum bending radius shall be not less than 4 times of outer diameter of the cable.
Approvals:
· UL listed Stds. 83 & 1063 as: Type THHN Wire 90°C in dry locations, Type THWN Wire 75°C in wet locations.
